Picky Eating Class
Ever Had Mealtime Struggles?
This class focuses on mealtime struggles and strategies for developing a healthy feeding relationship. We think this information is important for all parents and caregivers, so we offer it at no cost.
Participants will learn about:
•What to expect with your child’s feeding – developmental stages of feeding.
•Parent challenges around feeding children and ways to cope (like picky eating, refusal of foods, strong preferences, drinks well but doesn’t eat well).
•How to help you child eat new foods and make one meal that everyone will eat.
•Help form a positive feeding relationship with your child.

Did you Know that Alberta is Experiencing an Outbreak of Syphilis?Since 2005, 14 babies have been born with congenital syphilis, with 5 deaths reported to date. The main treatment is Bicillin and is free of charge.

This program is for women who are at risk for delivering low birth-weight babies. This can include women who are:

This program is for women who are at risk for delivering low birth-weight babies. This can include women who are:
- 20 years of age or younger
- Over 35 years old
- Living on a limited income
How will you benefit?

- Information on pregnancy and parenting
- Milk and food coupons
- Vitamin and mineral supplements
- Library card
- Items for your baby
- Nutrition advice from a dietitian
- Help to quit smoking
- General support
- Information about other agencies that offer support and services
